Amanda Leigh "Mandy" Moore (born April 10, 1984) is an American pop music singer and actress. She was born in Nashua, New Hampshire, but grew up in Seminole County, Florida, outside Orlando. In between releasing albums, she attended Lake Brantley High School in Altamonte Springs.
She may look petite in her videos, but this actress teeters a strong 5-feet, 10-inches tall. If she weren't an actress, Moore says she'd be a news reporter.
Although teen dance-pop sensation Mandy Moore may rank alongside Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera as one of the most popular female singers of her generation, her midriff-free image and genuine vocal talents have propelled her from the recording studio to movie sets in projects that are both family friendly and positive in nature.
